AMERiders is bringing you a newsflash! There are to be 150 Limited Edition Jack Daniel’s Indian® Chief® Vintage and Limited Edition Jack Daniel’s Indian Springfield™ motorcycles made this year. This collaboration between Indian and Jack Daniels commemorates the 150th anniversary of the Jack Daniel Distillery, which was registered in 1866. These these finely crafted Limited Edition Jack Daniels Motorcycles will only be available for order at your local Indian Motorcycle dealership from March 4th to April 4th. They will be sold on a first come, first served basis. Specific motorcycle numbers cannot be reserved. Each motorcycle will be hand painted and built to order, with delivery occurring no later than August 2016.
“Designed in conjunction with Klock Werks Kustom Cycles of Mitchell, S.D. to offer classic styling, premium features, touring comfort, and custom detailing, the new hard-bagged Indian Springfield and the leather-bound Indian Chief Vintage represent the first time in Jack Daniel’s history that it has aligned with a vehicle manufacturer. The bikes feature Jack Daniel’s “Bottles and Throttles Don’t Mix” responsibility campaign to remind riders that these two activities should be enjoyed separately. The models will be produced in extremely limited numbers not to exceed 150 total units.
Both motorcycles share an MSRP of $29,999 (California models add $250 for California emissions), a Canada MSRP of $37,499, and will be available in limited quantities for international order. Both models come with a custom-printed Jack Daniel’s whiskey barrel top to commemorate each bike, a two-year unlimited mileage factory warranty and free membership in the Indian Motorcycle Riders Group™ for one year.
The #001 Limited Edition Jack Daniel’s Indian Chief Vintage was revealed at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Collector Car Auction on January 23. It will be auctioned at the Barrett-Jackson Auction in Las Vegas, which takes place October 6-8, and will be the last chance for anyone to own one of these highly sought after motorcycles. All monies raised from the charity auction will be donated to support “Operation Ride Home,” a partnership between the Jack Daniel Distillery and the Armed Services YMCA that provides funding and travel assistance to help junior-enlisted military personnel spend time with their families during the holiday season.”
